The Ohio State Highway Patrol, alongside local and state safety partners, will be conducting a focused operation on Interstate 270 in Franklin County to stop reckless driving and reduce fatal crashes from Sunday, July 19 through Saturday, July 25.
During the week-long enforcement, the Patrol will be working in collaboration with Police Departments from Columbus, Dublin and Gahanna, as well as the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, and Ohio Department of Transportation.
OSP’s Aviation Unit will also participate in the enforcement.
To promote roadway safety across the state, drivers are reminded to obey posted speed limits, buckle up and never drive distracted or impaired.
If you see reckless driving, call #677 to be connected to your nearest Patrol post.
