9-1-1 safety signs are being installed in Pleasant Township.
Township Trustees Sam Norris and Beryl Rogers Dudek said these signs will help first responders quickly locate an address in case of emergency, which will save precious time in an emergency situation.
Crews from the Hardin County Engineer’s office will be installing the new signs and posts so that they can be seen clearly from each direction that first responders may approach.
They will ensure that the signs are installed close to the driveway and not obscured by landscaping and will be on the same side of the road as the resident’s house.
All the 9-1-1 safety signs and posts are in Pleasant Township.
They also stated that if you have not seen crews yet, they will work their way to your street and be replaced in the very near future.
