There was snow on the ground and the high temperature was in the low 20’s this past Saturday morning, which was actually perfect weather for Ohio Northern University’s annual Polar Plunge.

Sponsored by Delta Sigma Phi fraternity, several took the plunge in Neiheiser Lake on the west end of the Tundra.

Participants made donations to jump in themselves or donated to make one of the fraternity brothers jump in their place.

Student organizer Nate Holcomb said they will be donating just over $1,200 back to the Face It Foundation.

The Face It Foundation supports men’s mental health.
