The maintenance crew in Forest has been able to repair or replace all neighborhood “pit” controllers and pumps that were not functioning except one.

Forest Mayor Dean Hankins said that “pit” will require extensive work and additional parts.

The Mayor said again, if you experience noise, smells, or backup issues coming from your sewer, let them know immediately at 419-429-9150 (the after-hours service phone) and the “on-call” person will respond.

Residents on the Vacuum Sanitary Sewer System should continue their conservatory use, as much as possible, as they monitor the system to ensure that repairs are holding.
