A Columbus man was arrested after a pursuit in Union County Monday night.
According to the Daily Media Release from the Union County Sheriff’s Office, deputies attempted to pull over a westbound car on US 33 for a traffic violation, but the driver failed to stop.
After a brief pursuit, the vehicle pulled over on 33 east of US Route 36.
As a result of the investigation, the driver of the vehicle, 24 year old Jeremy D. Bickerstaff, was arrested for failure to comply with the order or signal of a police officer and possession of drug abuse instruments.
He was transported to the Tri County Regional Jail.
