Putnam County Crash Claims Life of Lima Man
A Lima man was killed, and a Bryan, Ohio man was seriously injured in a two-vehicle crash that occurred Wednesday morning on State Route 15 in Putnam County.
According to a release from the Lima Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, 33-year-old Dannie Davis IV, was driving west on 15, when he drove left of center.
His car was struck by an eastbound vehicle being operated by 25-year-old Ethan Khandaker.
Davis was pronounced dead at the scene.
Khandaker was transported to Mercy Health- Defiance Hospital with serious injuries.
Both drivers were wearing their safety belts the time of crash.
Drug impairment is suspected to be a factor in this crash, which remains under investigation.
