Riverdale School students and staff came together on Friday, September 11 as a school community to remember and honor the lives lost on September 11, 2001.

On the 25th anniversary of 9/11, they reflected on the courage and sacrifice of first responders, ordinary citizens, and all those whose lives were forever changed that day.

It was also an opportunity to remind students of the importance of courage, service, kindness, and unity.

Allison Rader and the Riverdale Band performed the National Anthem, Riverdale Student Council President Ainslee Deringer shared a meaningful remembrance message, and Kelsie Brown played Taps to conclude the ceremony.
