Rotary Hears from Safety Director of Cessna Transport

The Kenton Rotary Club heard from the Safety Director of Cessna Transport at a recent meeting.  

Tracy Williams has been with Cessna for a little under a year. 

Along with ensuring the trucks and drivers are safe and compliant with a multitude of Local, State and Federal regulations, Williams must ensure that the proper paperwork is filed with these agencies to maintain licenses and permits. 

He stated that with his experience in the military, 24 years as an Ohio State Highway Patrol Trooper and a CDL consultant for Ohio Driver Training, he was able to make a smooth transition into his new job.

Prior to Williams joining Cessna Transport, the owners were tasked with all of these compliance requirements.  

Co–owner Kirk Shepherd stated that Williams has taken many responsibilities off his plate, and that has allowed him to focus on other aspects of the company including driving.
