Samples Collected from Boy Scout Lake at Veterans Memorial Park Following Squirrel Deaths
Veterans Memorial Park Board members announced on Thursday that samples have been collected from Boy Scout Lake per the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency.
Results will be released as soon as possible.
This comes as they investigate the death of a number of squirrels at the park.
At this time, you should avoid and keep animals away from the water.
Keep dogs on a leash, avoid wooded areas and stick to the walking path.
You should also avoid fishing at this time.
Currently no other wildlife has been affected.
