Scam Targeting Older Adults in the Area
A scam is targeting older adults in the surrounding areas.
Scammers are reportedly saying they are with the PASSPORT program and are asking individuals for their banking information.
When care managers or representatives from the Area Agency on Aging 3 call, they do not ask for your banking information.
All are advised to be cautious of any personal information you give out over the phone.
