Section of Columbus Street in Kenton Slated to Temporarily Close May 1

Starting Thursday, May 1, Columbus Street, extending from Detroit to Main Street in Kenton, will be closed as crews will be installing new water and sewer lines as part of the downtown project.

No parking or through traffic will be allowed during the closure.

Sidewalks will remain open for pedestrians.

Motorists and residents are asked to plan accordingly and expect this area to be closed for several days beginning Thursday.

City officials thank the residents for their understanding and cooperation as they look forward to improved infrastructure in the community.
