
The National Weather Service has placed our region under a slight risk for severe weather.
Thunderstorms are expected to form along a cold front, and the storms could become severe this afternoon and evening.
Damaging winds will be the primary threat.
The temperature will top off at near 90 this afternoon but expect a big cool off when fall arrives tomorrow.
Temperatures will be in the low 60’s Thursday along with a refreshing breeze gusting as high as 26 miles an hour tomorrow.
