Some residents in Mt. Blanchard were without water for several hours today.
According to information on the village’s Facebook page, the water was shut off north of Island Park around 9:30 this (Thursday) morning due to a waterline break.
Village Administrator Dan Clements said the waterline was repaired, and the water was turned back on at around 12:30pm.
For those affected, a boil water advisory is now in effect. The area affected are homes north of Park Street.
The advisory is in affect until further notice.
