Village of Forest officials announced that the Splash Pad is back open and operational as of Wednesday.
They said to be aware, the water features are on a timer, and once the water shuts off, to press the button only one time.
It takes a few seconds for it to cycle around and restart.
The issue was that the button keeps being pressed multiple times and it jams and ruins the switch.
The Splash Pad is located at Gormley Park in Forest.
