
State Route 309 between State Route 235 and County Road 15 near the Allen County line reopened around 5 hours after a two vehicle crash in that area this morning.
Complete details of the crash have not been released at this time.
According to information from the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office, the crash involved a Robinaugh EMS squad and a passenger vehicle.
On its Facebook page, Robinaugh EMS stated that one of their units was transporting a patient to a Lima hospital when another vehicle went left of center striking the EMS unit head-on and causing it to roll.
Both crew members sustained non-life threatening injuries and were transported to Lima hospitals as well as the patient they were transporting.
The other driver was flown from the scene.
The crash remains under investigation by the Lima Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
