St. John’s Evangelical Church to Host Total Wellness Tuesdays Series in Kenton
St. John’s Evangelical Church will host a six-week Total Wellness Tuesdays series titled “An Enhanced Quality of Life”, presented in partnership with WISE, the Alzheimer’s Association, and Ohio State University Extension.
The series will be held Tuesdays from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall on the third floor at 211 East Carrol Street in Kenton.
The program is open to everyone.
Topics and dates include:
June 9 (Understanding the Changes Associated with Aging)
June 16 (Aging Sensitivity)
June 23 (Valuing Cultural and Generational Diversity)
July 7 (Medication and the Older Adult)
July 14 (Substance Abuse, Addiction, and Older Adults)
July 21 (An Enhanced Quality of Life)
Participants will receive helpful wellness tools such as pill organizers, medication lock boxes, and disposal bags. Light refreshments will also be provided.
