According to the National Weather Service, showers and thunderstorms are forecast to move across the region on Saturday.
Some of those storms could be strong to severe.
Strong, gusty winds will be the primary threat.
In addition, there could be locally heavy rainfall which would pose a renewed threat for flooding, especially in areas that remain saturated.
You should never attempt to cross a flooded roadway as a motorist in Allen County did Thursday evening.
Crews from the Lima Fire Department were able to safely remove the individual, and the vehicle was recovered.
Remember, when approaching flooded roadways, never attempt to cross them because the water may be deeper than it appears.
Remember the adage, “Turn Around, Don’t Drown.”
