Tax Filing Deadline is Today
Today is April 15, also known as Tax Day.
That means taxpayers must submit their returns or request extensions by today. As of March 29, 90 million households had already filed their returns. Based on historic trends, the IRS can expect about 20 million more to file in the final days.
That goes for your local, state, school district as well as federal tax returns.
