Teen Driver Charged with OVI in Findlay

A teenage driver is facing a charge of operating a vehicle while under the influence after an accident in Findlay early this morning.

According to the report from the Findlay Police Department, the 17 year old female driver was driving south on Emma Street at around 12:30 this morning and failed to stop for a stop sign at West Sandusky Street.

The car traveled through the guardrail on the southside of Sandusky Street and came to rest in a pond.

The juvenile sustained non-life threatening injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
