Three Young Ada Residents Receive Proclamation

Three Ada residents were honored by village officials for being model citizens.

Ada Mayor David Retterer issued a proclamation for Logan Conrad, Holden Purdy and Kyle Zimmerly for helping a woman who injured herself after falling in downtown Ada.

The three young men discovered the injured woman outside a restaurant. They called 9-1-1 and stayed with her until the emergency squad arrived.

The proclamation declared that their act of compassion demonstrates their good character and recognition of their responsibility to each other.

The three were thanked, and they each received a football from Wilson Sporting Goods.
