Two Arrested in Logan County Meth Trafficking Investigation

Details on a search warrant that was served on Saturday, May 2nd, at a home on Midway Avenue in Lakeview was released on Monday.

The Logan County Sheriff’s Office, Logan County Unified Drug Task Force, and the Washington Township Police Department participated in serving the warrant.

According to a release, the task force had been investigating Richard Turner and Mary Kemp, who were suspected of transporting large amounts of crystal methamphetamine to Lakeview from another Ohio county.

During the search, authorities reportedly recovered and seized more than 26 grams of crystal meth.

Turner and Kemp were both arrested and charged with aggravated trafficking in a Schedule II drug.
