Two Bellefontaine residents injured in Logan County rollover crash
Two Bellefontaine residents were injured in a one vehicle crash that occurred Thursday afternoon on County Road 1 in Logan County.
According to the Marysville Post of the Ohio State Patrol, 68-year-old James Samples lost control of his pickup truck while driving north on 1.
The vehicle first went off the right side of the road and Samples overcorrected, causing it to end up off the left side of the road where it rolled over multiple times before coming to rest on its side in a bean field.
Samples was transported to Ohio State University Hospital in Columbus with non-life-threatening injuries.
A passenger, 54-year-old Norro Perdue, was transported to Mary Rutan Hospital in Bellefontaine also with non-life-threatening injuries.
Alcohol is suspected to be a factor in the crash, which remains under investigation.
