One person was transported to the hospital for treatment of suspected minor injuries after a crash that occurred Tuesday afternoon at the intersection of Detroit and Espy Streets in Kenton.

According to the Kenton Police Department report, 38-year-old Bradley Heilman was driving south on Detroit, and he failed to slow down in time for traffic that was stopped for a red light.

His vehicle struck the rear of a car being operated by 18-year-old Lelind Holland, who’s vehicle was then pushed into another car being operated by 76-year-old Louise Morris, who was transported by BKP to Hardin Memorial Hospital.

Heilman was cited for an assured clear distance ahead violation.
