Two Drivers Escape with Minor Injuries After Tuesday Morning Crash
Two people were injured in a crash that occurred at around 7:25 Tuesday morning in Roundhead Township in the area of SR 117 and SR 235.
According to information from the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office:
A 2013 Volkswagen Jetta being driven by Khadejiah Summers of Sidney was stopped at the stop sign on SR 385. A 2024 Nissan Rogue being driven by Kaleena Wiseman of Washington Courthouse was traveling North on SR 117. The Summers vehicle failed to yield and entered the intersection to make a left turn and struck the Wiseman vehicle.
Both drivers (lone occupants) were transported to local hospitals for assessment of possible minor injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
Assisting at the scene were Roundhead Fire Department, Richland Township Volunteer Fire Department, USV EMS, BMRT Ambulance District, and Osborn’s Towing and Recovery.
