One crash led to another on US 23 in Marion County early Monday morning.

According to the reports from the Ohio State Highway Parol, 48-year-old Flint Fox, of Fostoria, lost control of his vehicle while driving south on 23.

The vehicle traveled off the right side of the road twice, each time striking the guardrail, before ending up back on the road where it struck a concrete jersey barrier on the left side of the road.

Disabling damage occurred to the car, and Fox was treated at the scene for possible injuries.

He was cited for failing to maintain reasonable control.

While the wreckage was in the roadway, 36-year-old Ovelmar Robelro, of Marion, was driving south on 23.

He swerved to avoid the crash, and his car struck a roadside guardrail, a bridge guardrail and a concrete jersey wall before overturning.

Robelro was transported to Marion General Hospital for treatment of suspected minor injuries.
