Two Lima Police Department cruisers collided during an incident Monday morning in Lima.
According to the report from the Lima Police Department, officers responded to a report about shots being fired inside a residence at 35 Superior Street in the city.
Two units arrived on scene.
Possible suspects were observed by both units while one was travelling in an east/west alley and the other in a north/south alley.
The cruisers collided where the alleys intersect while the officers were attempting to pursue the suspects.
The alleyway is overgrown with weeds and shrubbery where the alleys intersect, which contributed to the crash.
Moderate damage occurred to the cruisers.
