Two New Council Members Appointed in McGuffey
Two new members were sworn-in and now hold a seats on the McGuffey Village Council.
At Monday evening’s special council meeting, Travis Compton and Gregory Claybaugh received the oath of office from Village Solicitor John Neville
Compton is the owner of Ram’s Roost, and he has been a village resident for nearly three years.
He said he thought it would be a good time to join, and present ideas to help the village.
Claybaugh said he has been a village resident on and off since 2007, and moved back in 2019.
He is a currently with the Roundhead Fire Department and said he is hoping to give back to the community and fix anything that needs fixed and move forward.
