Two people were injured in a roll over crash that occurred this past Monday in the 3000 block of County Road 175.
According to information released this (Wednesday) afternoon from the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office, Steven Burton, of rural Forest, drove off the right side of the road, where the car hit the ditch and overturned multiple times, coming to rest on the passenger side.
Burton and a passenger, Harley Blake, also of rural Forest, were both ejected from the vehicle.
The deputy on scene noticed steel threads on the donut tire that was on the driver’s side rear as well as a normal sized tire on the passenger rear side of the car.
Burton was transported to the helipad at Hardin Memorial Hospital to be provided further care by Careflight of Miami Valley and The Ohio State University Hospitals for suspected serious injuries.
Blake was transported to Hardin Memorial Hospital for possible injuries.
The Hardin County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Forest Police Department, Forest Fire & EMS, Dunkirk EMS, BKP EMS and Minich’s Towing and Recovery.
