
Kenton City Council met Monday evening.
Doris Blum was sworn in after being appointed to fill the Council at Large seat after the death of Anda Tudor.
Blum, Curtis Castle and Raymond Lawrence II are write-in candidates in November’s election for the position
Also at the meeting, Cassidy Deckling is the new Municipal Prosecutor and Assistant Law Director.
Municipal Court Judge Greg Grimslid administered the oath of office to both Blum and Deckling.
The council reviewed various ordinances concerning fund classifications and a roundabout project.
A resident raised concerns about a junkyard on Vine Street and truck traffic on Ida Street.
