
On Sunday, 10-12-2025, around 1:30 AM, Lima PD officers responded to the area of Vine St. / Madison Ave, Lima in reference to a drive-by shooting.
Two male juvenile victims (ages 17 and 15 years old) were outside of a residence in the area, and they were struck by the gunfire, with both sustaining non-life-threatening injuries.
A Lima PD officer was in the area at the time the shots were fired, and officers located the suspect vehicle fleeing the area. Officers were eventually able to catch up with the vehicle and get it stopped. It was discovered the suspect vehicle was occupied by four male juveniles (ages ranging from 14 to 16 years old).
Two firearms were thrown from the vehicle, as it was fleeing, and both firearms were recovered by responding officers. The four juveniles were taken into custody, and they are being held at the Allen County Juvenile Detention Center on various felony charges related to this incident.
