Two Vehicle Crash on US 33 in Union County Seriously Injures Marysville Woman
A Marysville woman was seriously injured in a crash that occurred on U.S. 33 in Union County at around 3:10 Wednesday afternoon.
According to the report from the Marysville Police Department, 43-year-old Melody Foster was merging onto 33 from State Route 31, and she failed to yield to a westbound vehicle beig operated by 36-year-old Dustin Edwards, of Marysville.
Foster’s car first struck the side of Edwards’ vehicle and then struck the concrete median before going off the road on the ride side.
Foster was transported to Memorial Hospital for treatment of injuries and was cited for a driving in marked lanes violation.
Edwards was not injured.
