Two Vehicle Crash South of Kenton Wednesday Afternoon Injures Elida Woman

An Elida woman was injured in a crash that occurred around 12:15 Wednesday afternoon at the intersection of State Route 31 and County Road 200 in Buck Township.

According to information from the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office, Christie McCall was driving east on 200, and she failed to stop for a stop sign at 31.

Her car was struck by a southbound car being driven by Holly Tackett, of Mt. Victory.

McCall was transported to an area hospital by Southeast Hardin Northwest Union Fire District for treatment of possible injuries sustained in this accident.

She was cited for a right of way violation.

Assisting at the scene were Southeast Hardin Northwest Union Fire District, Ridgeway Fire Department, Kenton Fire Department and Osborn’s Towing.
