More than $2.64 million has been donated and pledged by University of Findlay alumni and supporters to name the Davis Street building in honor of President Emeritus Katherine Fell, Ph.D., and her husband, Roger Fell.

More than 50 donors have contributed to the effort, with gifts supporting the Findlay Fund, the university’s annual fund that benefits students and campus operations.

The Davis Street building, located at 300 Davis Street, was acquired by the university in 2006 and now houses classrooms, laboratories, and campus events.

The naming initiative comes as Fell retires this summer after 16 years of service as university president.

Anyone interested in donating to the campaign may contact the University Advancement office at 419-434-5334 or visit oilers.findlay.edu/fellproject.
