Vehicle Damaged in Downtown Kenton Crash
Traffic is slow going on Detroit Street between Franklin and Columbus due to an accident.
A sport utility vehicle was travelling west on Franklin, and attempted to turn right onto Detroit at the same time a semi was turning right.
The driver of the sport utility vehicle said he thought he was in a right turn lane but was not.
The semi sideswiped the vehicle and stopped on Detroit at Columbus Street.
The sport utility vehicle stopped partially on the curb at Franklin and Detroit, and the driver was checked at the scene by personnel from BKP as a precaution.
The crash is under investigation.
Traffic is being allowed through, but be careful in that area.
