There will be a city-wide shutdown of water tonight in Kenton.

Water will be turned off starting between midnight and 2 a.m.

It is expected to be off for approximately five hours.

Depressurization is necessary so crews can replace a water valve due to failure. The work is being done in the area of Marie and High Streets.

When the water is turned back on, there will be a city-wide boil water advisory until further notice.
