Worker Finds Stolen Rifle Along Banks of Scioto River

A worker mowing grass for the city of Kenton found a rifle Tuesday along the bank of the Scioto River near Wharton Park.

 

According to the report from the Kenton Police Department, the rifle was in poor shape and appeared to have been out in the weather for a long period of time.

 

The gun had been reported stolen and was returned to the rightful owner.
