The City of Upper Sandusky and the Wyandot Chamber of Commerce confirmed that this year’s Independence Day fireworks display will take place on July 3rd at Upper Sandusky High School.

While multiple locations were considered, it was after a thorough review of logistics, safety, accessibility, and overall event quality that the high school was selected as the most appropriate venue.

This decision was not influenced by public speculation or incomplete interpretations of the planning process.

Officials stated that they remain committed to thoughtful event planning and are always evaluating new ways to serve the public effectively.

The complete joint statement can be found on the Wyandot Chamber of Commerce’s Facebook page.
