
Wyandot Memorial Hospital announced it is prioritizing the safety of patients, visitors, and employees during the current severe winter weather.
Due to current Level 3 conditions, the following updates are in effect for Monday, January 26:
Closed Services
Patients with scheduled appointments will be contacted directly to reschedule.
Urgent Care and Retail Pharmacies
Urgent Care and retail pharmacy locations, including Carey Pharmacy and Forest Pharmacy, will be closed Monday morning. Conditions will be re-evaluated at 11:00 a.m., with the possibility of reopening later in the day if travel conditions improve.
Outpatient Surgeries and Infusions
All outpatient surgeries and infusion appointments scheduled for Monday have been canceled. Patients will be notified directly.
Emergency Department
The Emergency Department remains open 24/7 for emergencies. Hospital officials expressed gratitude to EMS partners and first responders during these conditions.
Telehealth Options
Some appointments may transition to telehealth when appropriate. Eligible patients will be contacted.
Community Warming Station
The main campus lobby will remain open as a warming station for anyone needing a safe, warm place to get out of the cold.
Community members are encouraged to stay safe, limit travel if possible, and continue monitoring hospital updates on the Wyandot Memorial Hospital Facebook page.
