A Marseilles man died in a motorcycle accident over the weekend.

According to a release from the Bucyrus Post of the Ohio State Patrol, the crash was discovered around 9:15 Sunday night on County Highway 77 east of Township Road 108 in Wyandot County.

It involved a 2008 Harley Davidson motorcycle operated by 49 year-old Michael C. Hoy.

The preliminary investigation indicates that the motorcycle was traveling west on 77 when it collided with a deer.
