The Hardin County Board of Elections received unexpected recognition from the office of the Ohio Secretary of State’s office.
The Director of Elections and Deputy Assistant Secretary of State, Amanda M. Grandjean sent an email in December praising the county’s Board of Elections performance in the November 2 election.
In the email, Grandjean stated:
“As part of our comprehensive after-action review of the November 2, 2021 General Election, our elections team met to discuss each county’s performance. We had nothing but positive feedback to offer during our discussions of Hardin County Board of Elections. We still encourage each board to conduct their own internal after-action review, but you made us all proud during the general election. Your dedication to election administration continues to set Ohio apart as the gold standard. Thank you so much for your hard work and service to the voters of Hardin County. Our Office looks forward to working with you for another safe and accessible election cycle.”
