Many volunteers from a wide variety of Hardin County businesses will take part in an event at Kenton High School on March 18th.

It’s like speed dating…Quick paced interviews aiming for a business partnership, and great experience for students.

Students participate in multiple one-on-one interviews. These mock interviews served as a valuable experience for them, not only for those entering the workforce, but college and military also. Interviews happen in many avenues of life.

Local employers encourage the kids to have confidence and be unique because there’s never been a better time to be looking for a job.

Employers will evaluate the students on their interview performance and gave feedback for improvement in a group setting as well individually.

The interviews were arranged by the Midwest Regional Educational Service Center’s Youth Development Liaison as part of the 3E initiative (Employed, Enlisted or Enrolled).

Thank you to the following businesses who have signed up to volunteer: Allen Oakwood Correctional Institution, Apollo, Army, Ohio Army National guard, Graphic Packaging, Hardin County Sheriff Dept., Hardin County Sheriff Dept-Dispatch, Heritage Cooperative, Honda, Katterhenry Investment Group of NEST, Kenton Police Dept, Local Union 776 Plumbers and Pipefitters, Marion Tech.
