Semi Sideswipes Utility Pole at Intersection of Wayne and Decatur Streets

A Michigan truck driver was cited after an accident that occurred Monday evening at the intersection of South Wayne and Decatur Streets in Kenton.

According to the report from the Kenton Police Department, 55 year old Anthony Riange was traveling south on Wayne, and attempted to turn west onto Decatur.

In the process of turning, the driver lost control of the semi, causing it to sideswipe a utility pole resulting in moderate damage.

Riange was not injured.

He was cited for failing to maintain control.
