Severe Weather Possible this Evening

Severe storms are possible today. 

According to the National Weather Service, the most favored time for severe weather is between 1 PM and 7 PM. 

Damaging wind is the primary threat. 

Large hail and tornado potential are low, but cannot be ruled out. 

There is also a chance for heavy rainfall and localized flooding this afternoon into tonight.
