Benjamin Logan High School senior Sophia Harris has signed to continue her academic and athletic career at Heidelberg University, where she will compete in wrestling for the Student Princes.

Harris, a dedicated member of the Raider wrestling program, plans to pursue a degree in Criminology. She chose Heidelberg for its strong academics, supportive coaching staff, and the connection she felt to the campus community.

“Because the campus was great, great academics, coaches, and I felt drawn there,” Harris said.

Harris has long aspired to compete at the collegiate level, motivated by both personal ambition and a friendly family challenge. “My sisters and I made a bet on who would go to college for a sport—and let’s say, I won!” she shared.

Known for her determination and drive, Harris believes her willingness to push herself will help her succeed at the next level. As she joins the Heidelberg program, she is focused on continuing to grow as both a student and athlete.

“I expect to work to be the best I can be, never give up on what I love, and continue to learn and excel,” she said.

Harris is the daughter of Morgan and Donald Harris.

Benjamin Logan Schools congratulate Sophia on this achievement and wish her continued success at the collegiate level.
