Carey’s Puckett Brothers Make History

Senior running back Dash Puckett and his younger brother, junior running back Mace Puckett, both topped 1,000 rushing yards in the 2025 season, making them the first brothers in Carey football history to achieve that feat in the same year. Their efforts powered the Blue Devils to a Regional final and secured the program’s fourth Northern 10 championship in five seasons.

Mace earned N10 all-league first-team honors and ranked third in the conference with 1,065 rushing yards in the regular season, while Dash made the All-N10 second team and finished seventh in league rushing. Helping pave the way were three all-conference linemen: Levi Bowling and Garrett Boes, both first-team picks, and Chase Stone, a second-team selection.
