Falcons Soaring to Regionals

Riverdale will be sending athletes to regionals in track & field in a plethora of events.

On the boys’ side, Grant Inbody earned his spot in the shot put and claimed the district title in discus. Brody Berger also made it to regionals with a third-place finish in discus. Kolten Evans advanced in the 800m and broke his own school record to take first in the 1600m. The 4×800 relay team of Evans, Cale Young, Cody Flowers-Barger, and Gabe Donaldson finished fourth to keep their season alive.

The Riverdale girls will be moving on in eight events. Paige Vent, Annalese Woodruff, Summer Boutwell, and Grace Driskill advanced in the 4×800 relay. Vent also qualified for the 800m as an individual. Marissa Bonham finished 2nd in the high jump and also advanced in the 200m, 400m, and in the 4x400m relay with Paige Vent, Emma Kemmere, and Tamijah Altvater. Altvater also qualified in the 100m, 200m, and the 4x200m relay with Seneca Wentz, Emma Kemmere, and Pagie Vent.
