Hardin Northern Baseball Gets 1st Seed, Plus a Look at All Area Matchups

Let’s take a look at the matchups for our local schools in the OHSAA baseball tournament beginning later this month.

Kenton will travel to play Lima Bath on Wednesday, May 21st at 5 pm*. Bath was able to get a 6-3 win over Kenton in their lone regular season matchp.

That same day, we will see 3 seed Upper Sandusky host 6 seed Elida.

The following day, USV will host Waynesfield-Goshen for a 4 vs 5 matchup.

May 23rd will be a busy day for local teams with 7 seed Riverdale traveling to take on 3 seed Elmwood, Carey hosting Kansas Lakota for another 4vs5 matchup, and Hardin Northern welcoming underdog Vanlue for a rematch of a game from last season that resulted in a resounding 16-2 victory for the Polar Bears.

Saturday the 24th, we will see our first noon game when the 8 seed Ada Bulldogs travel to Marion Local. Bulldogs rival Allen East will then host New Bremen at 5pm to close out our first round slate of games.
