The Hardin Northern Polar Bears will entertain the Waynesfield-Goshen Tigers in a key week 10 high school football matchup this evening.

Both the Polar Bears and the Tigers are 7-2 on the season. Waynesfield-Goshen is 8th in the latest Division VII, Region 28 computer ratings while the Polar Bears are 9th. The top 8 teams in each region qualify for the state playoffs, so the winner of tonight’s game should have an inside track to the postseason.

Hardin Northern is looking for its first playoff berth since 2006 while Waynesfield-Goshen has not qualified for the postseason since 2012.
