Hommel Throws Complete Game in Wildcat Opener

The Kenton Wildcats kicked off their high school baseball season with a 4-0 win over Upper Sandusky. Leading the charge was starting pitcher Maddox Hommel, who threw a complete game two-hitter with 8 strikeouts. Hommel also contributed at the plate, going 1-for-3 with 2 RBIs, a stolen base, and a run scored.

Kenton returns to action at home on Thursday, taking on Ridgemont with the first pitch set for 5 PM.
