Kenton 8th grade boys fall to Bluffton
The Kenton 8th grade boys basketball team fell to Bluffton 32-24. It was a very physical game and while we came to play we came up short to a good team. Defensively Zaidyn Wyomic and Layton Hijma played their best player very tough. The Wildcats were led by Xavier Gammon with 9 points followed by Issac Gordon with 5. Parker Osborn, Kayne Bushong, Hijma, Luke Donges, and Tanner Butcher all chipped in 2 points each. Gordon pulled down 11 rebounds, Butcher 10, and Gammon 9. Osborn and Gordon each had an assist. Gordon led in steals with 3, five players forced 2 turnovers each. They were Osborn, Bushong, Hijma, Gammon, and Butcher.
